UX/UI Redesign & Frontend Implementation - Internship (12 weeks)
I owned the frontend work for Framsteg 247 AB's technology transfer office automation platform. That meant researching a new domain, redesigning the product in Figma, and building 30+ production React components alongside another frontend developer and an AI-focused backend engineer.

Research & Discovery
Spent two weeks researching IP licensing and commercialization workflows, a domain that was completely new to me. I also interviewed a technology transfer officer to understand how the work happens in practice.

Design
Spent two weeks designing the user flow and UI in Figma, iterating with the team until they approved the final flow and visual direction before any code was written.

Build
Learned Next.js and Tailwind CSS on the job while building 30+ production React components. These included UI foundations, forms, dashboard sections, billing, and team-role features. I split the work with a second frontend developer using a Kanban board.

Handoff
Handed off the full design, user flow, and most of the coded component library at the end of the internship. Constant pairing meant the team already knew the code, so no formal documentation was needed. The platform is still being developed on that foundation.
